Haine and Smith Opticians

Haine and Smith’s, Alison Jacobson recently presented Kevin with the sunglasses that he will wear when he finally competes in the 350 mile race to the North Pole next year. Alison says; “Haine & Smith are pleased to support Kevin as he is undertaking the challenge to aim to raise money and awareness for Winston’s Wish a charity which supports bereaved children and their families.” Also Kevin said "I aim to turn Team Sheppard into an inspirational Organization designed to inspire young children to achieve their own asperational goals and ambitions".

Kevin was inspired to fundraise for the charity having lost his own brother as a child and says; “I am extremely grateful to Haine & Smith for helping me to get prepared for my forthcoming Polar Challenge 2010.”

Established over 30 years ago by Sue Haine & Barry Smith, the group has enjoyed remarkable success, opening 19 practices throughout Wiltshire and the surrounding area, and carrying out approximately 60,000 eye examinations a year. The latest practice, in Amesbury, opened in June 2006.

Haine & Smith currently has practices in Amesbury, Calne, Chippenham, Cirencester, Corsham, Devizes, Faringdon, Highworth, Malmesbury, Marlborough, Melksham, Gorse Hill - Swindon, Regent Street - Swindon, Tetbury, Trowbridge, Warminster, Westbury, Wootton Bassett and Wroughton.
